Bob is still alive
My motorcycle, Bob in case you forgot him, was checked twice for drivability. He’s “average” on paper, like any other used motorcycle car out there on the street.
I changed oils, filters, battery, spark plugs, some cables, some nuts and bolts, adjusted the valves, fixed some flickering of the blink and back lights, took off the side stand, replaced gear lever and foot pegs, bought spare parts, etc.
Meanwhile, I struggled to get a permission to import Bob to Denmark from Germany. About six weeks after I started the paperwork I got a plate that I could mount on the back and we’re now driving around whenever we can.
However, Bob is now back in the workshop with his front disassembled to replace the handlebar, stanchion covers, brake pads, brake fluid and the brake disc.
Hopefully we’ll be back on the street after next weekend.
